At a recent awards ceremony, Celtic was honored with the 2010 "Friend of the Ice Age Trail Award." This annual recognition is given to a group or organization that demonstrates the highest level of commitment to the Ice Age Trail Alliance and the Ice Age National Scenic Trail. Celtic has worked with the organization for several years, performing a variety of tasks pro bono, including strategic planning, layout and design, media relations and grassroots advocacy.
May 27, 2010 Paragon Award
Celtic picked up a Paragon Award from PRSA's Southeastern Wisconin Chapter on Tuesday night. The award was for our work last summer on the Coleman(R) Repellents Road Show. The Road Show was a cross-country tour to launch a new line of insect repellents under the Colman brand. The Road Show integrated a traveling promotion with product sampling, public relations and social media efforts.

Celtic recently conducted a media tour in NYC to launch LifelineUSA'sPullup Revolution. During the two-day tour, Celtic arranged meetings with some of the leading fitness and active lifestyle publications in North America.
The first day of the tour was spent at The Sports Club/LA at 45 Rockefeller Center. Members of the media were able to demo the Pullup Revolution along with other functional fitness products from LifelineUSA. They were also able to meet with Jon Hinds, one of the country's premier functional fitness trainers.
Day two of the tour took us all over Manahttan for deskside visits with top editors. We met in cubicles, offices and conferences rooms to demo the Pullup Revolution along with other products.

As a friend of the Ice Age National Scenic Trail, Celtic recently donated its creative services to help the Ice Age Trail Alliance (IATA) design it annual Congress Report. The report outlines the IATA's significance and contributions to Wisconsin and reinforces the need to protect and support the Ice Age Trail. IATA representatives will share the report with Senators and Representatives in Washington D.C. during Hike the Hill: Trails Advocacy Week, February 20-25. This yearly event serves to educate and raise awareness with Congress and the Administration about the importance of trails.

Celtic has been hired by Johnson Health Tech North America, Cottage Grove, Wis., to handle PR and media relations for the launch of LIVESTRONG Fitness. We're hitting the road...literally! Celtic is coordinating the 2009 Coleman Repellents Road Show, which kicks off July 15 in Jackson, Wis. and concludes July 18 in Salt Lake City, Utah. The tour runs through the great states of Wisconsin, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Wyoming and Utah.

Celtic is proud to support Eric Larsen and his Save the Poles expedition. Eric is attempting to be the first person to reach the North Pole, South Pole and summit of Mt. Everest in a 365-day period. The goal of his expedition is to raise awareness about the negative impact of global warming while educating people about the important things they can do to preserve our natural resources. In honor of St. Patrick's Day, Celtic is conducting a "Green" food drive beginning on Monday, March 3. The agency will be collecting all types of green food items, including green beans, peas and spinach (non-green food items are certainly welcomed). A collection barrel will be placed in the main lobby of 330 S. Executive Dr. in Brookfield, Wis. Everyone is welcome to donate non-perishable food. All food will be delivered to the Hunger Task Force on March 17.

Feb 06, 2009 Celtic Produces Videos for Liberty Safe
Celtic recently developed two dealer videos for Liberty Safe, Payson, Utah. The videos were developed to promote the company's home safes, which lead the industry when it comes to fire prevention and durability. The first video chronicles a safe that survived the infamous Southern California wildfires of October 2007. The second video highlights a safe that made it through an F4 tornado in Jackson, Tenn. Both videos were shot on location and edited by Celtic's creative team. The videos are currently being used by Liberty Safe dealers across the country. The videos are also posted on LibertySafe.com.

Dorner Manufacturing, Hartland, Wis., officially launched an exciting new conveyor system designed for the food industry. To support the launch, Celtic created a print ad that is currently running in more than a half-dozen trade publications targeting design engineers, plant managers and other key decision makers. The ad, which can be viewed here, cleverly uses a food nutrition label to highlight key features and benefits of the conveyor. Playing off the "food" theme, the ad closes by saying, "It cuts your costs while providing 100% of your daily production.

Celtic is excited to announce that Todd Fabos has been promoted to account executive. Fabos, a three-year veteran of the agency, was previously an account coordinator in Celtic's PR department. Celtic is proud to sponsor a car in the 2008 Fireball Run, a transcontinental road rally to build awareness for America's lost and missing children. As a sponsor, Celtic's logo will be featured prominently on a vehicle driven by Tom Warden and Chris Nielsen. This year's Fireball Run, which kicks off on September 25, begins in Baton Rouge, La., and ends in Grand Rapids, Mich. During the journey, participants will be making several scheduled stops to meet with local officials and media representatives to raise awareness for missing children and spur recovery efforts. According to organizers, two children were found last year as a direct result of the rally.

The new site promotes the company's insect bite relief product, StingEze, which is found at places like CVS, Rite-Aid, Wal-mart, REI, Sports Authority and more. The light, playful site targets "Moms" who are generally the primary decision makers for this type of product. Celtic has been selected by The Abbey Resort, Fontana, Wis., to develop a variety of print and online marketing initiatives for the remodeled resort on the shores of Lake Geneva. Specifically, Celtic will create a new print and online advertising template, as well as plan the media placement. The Abbey Resort recently completed a $40 million revitalization project. It is Lake Geneva's only shoreline resort and features the only protected marina on the lake.

Celtic recently developed a brand identity and Web site for Buck Tilton, a leading authority on wilderness medicine and outdoor health and safety. The new site, BuckTilton.com, will aid in Tilton's efforts to further promote his life lessons, authored books and speaking engagements.
Tilton is the co-founder of the Wilderness Medical Institute of the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS), and a medical consultant to Atwater Carey Outdoor Health & Safety products. He has authored more than two dozen books and writes a regular column for Backpacker magazine.
